UU Wellspring Overview

UU Wellspring Vision

Develop personal and communal depth to fully live Unitarian Universalism.

UU Wellspring Mission

UU Wellspring provides tools to create inclusive, accountable, spiritually deep religious community. Personal inner work evolves in covenanted relationship to create a path toward spiritual wholeness and faithful action that is essential to our collective liberation.

UU Wellspring is a series of spiritual deepening programs for Unitarian Universalists. The core programs span a congregational year with additional shorter programs to either add to the year-long programs or to use as a starter program. However, most congregations delve into the year-long program called Love at the Center: UU Values and Covenants or Sources. Either can be a prerequisite for additional year-long UU Wellspring programs. Cohorts of about 10 people with a volunteer facilitator is most typical, with online programs offered by UU Wellspring for individuals to participate. People who engage in UU Wellspring programs consistently tell us that their lives are transformed. This is a way to deepen your faith, your connections with others, and your spiritual lives. It’s a gift.

UU Wellspring includes:

  • A commitment to daily spiritual practice
  • Participation in small group community
  • Individual work with a spiritual director is strongly encouraged
  • Readings and resources for knowledge and reflection
  • Reflection and commitment to live our values in the world

UU Wellspring Associations: Please note that UU Wellspring inc is a UUA-affiliated organization, but we are not the UUA. We welcome donations to UU Wellspring through the UUA. You can do so by identifying UU Wellspring as a designated affiliated organization. The UU Wellspring Board has adopted the Eighth principle and is continuing the work to incorporate this principle into our work and live into all that it inspires to bring an anti-oppressive lens to all that we do.

“UU Wellspring really helped me think through and reinforce where I am in my spiritual journey, particularly regarding spiritual practice and my personal definitions of god, prayer, etc. It has softened some of my stances and helped me see things from various unique perspectives.”
